Ffotogallery's exhibition, 'The Silent Village', has opened at DOX Contemporary Art Centre in Prague.
This final leg of the tour marks a significant chapter for the exhibition, which deals with the nazi atrocity which occurred in the village of Lidice 20km north of Prague in 1942. 70 years on from this second world war tragedy, The Silent Village presents contemporary responses by artists Paolo Ventura and Peter Finnemore and writer Rachel Trezise to Humphrey Jennings’ classic film of 1943, which reconstructed the atrocity in the South Wales Valleys.
