Monday 1 August at 1pm - Listen to the Words: Welsh and the world's indigenous languages - organized by Wales Arts International on the Welsh Government stand.
In this event Mererid Hopwood and Gareth Bonello will discuss language and words in the context of the UN Decade of Indigenous Languages. Professor Hopwood, a poet and secretary of the Wales Peace Academy, will be talking with musician Dr Gareth Bonello and they will share their poems and songs.
Wednesday 3 August at 11am - Welsh language and the arts: available to all? - a panel discussion organized by Einir Siôn, Welsh Language Enabler for the Arts Council and Jeremy Evas from Welsh Government’s Project 2050 on the Welsh Government stand.
Chaired by Elen ap Robert, a trustee of the Arts Council, the panel will also include Jên Angharad, Chief Executive of Pontypridd’s Artis Community, the artist Mared Jarman and the TV presenter, Ameer Davies-Rana.
Saturday 6 August at 10am - Creative Nature: imagining the world’s future through the arts - a discussion in Y Sfferen at the Science and Technology Village.
Judith Musker Turner, Portfolio Manager for Arts Council of Wales, and Joe Roberts, Lead Specialist Advisor at Natural Resources Wales, will be asking the artists Dylan Huw, Heledd Wyn and Marc Rees about projects including the Future Wales Fellowship, EGIN, and GALWAD.

With Arts Council of Wales about to begin co-designing a Strategy for Climate Justice and Arts, this timely discussion will consider the role of the arts in responding to the climate and nature emergencies."
