Are you an individual or organisation/business manufacturing or selling products to customers in the European Union or Northern Ireland? Have you heard of the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) legislation? Do you understand how this will apply to you and your business?
If you are an individual or organisation/business manufacturing or selling product to customers in the EU or NI, as of 13th December 2024 you must now comply with the EU GPSR legislation. You can find UK Government’s guidance on this new legislation here
You might be worried or confused about whether GPSR rules applies to your practice, or how you can comply with the new legislation to continue selling your work, merchandise and product to the EU and NI.
This session is aimed at artists and arts organisations who would like to find out more about the legislation and understand if it affects them and what practical steps they will need to take to comply with the legislation, there will also be an opportunity to come and ask questions about GPSR.
We will be joined by Andrea Collins – Managing Director of Global Trade Department to provide an overview of GPSR legislation. Andrea has over 25 years experiences as an international trade specialist, and a passionate ambassador of UK micro businesses. Launching Global Trade Department as a way of supporting small businesses and raising the profile of UK goods and services abroad.
