Are you an artist or do you work in the creative and cultural industries (CCIs), resident in either Ireland (Republic of Ireland) or the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales)? Then click here to take part in British Councul's 10 minute Culture Connects survey for artists / cultural workers resident in the UK and Ireland.

This survey is part of a research project commissioned by British Council Ireland and is conducted by Belfast-based consultants Starling Start. Titled Culture Connects: mapping UK Ireland arts & cultural connections, the research combines survey responses with interviews, policy reviews, and mapping of current arts & cultural connections between the UK and Ireland. Expected date of research launch is February/March 2025.

The overall goal is to understand how to foster greater connectivity, mutual understanding, and stronger relationships in arts and culture between the UK and Ireland. They are gathering insights from both individual practitioners and organisational representatives across literature, music, theatre, dance, visual arts, architecture, film and multi-disciplinary practice. Through a mixed methods research study, the research will generate new knowledge and insight on cultural mobility and connection between the UK and Ireland.
