Grade B: Starting salary of £15,015 (£25,026 pro rata)
Location: This role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen. We are currently working in a hybrid way.
About this role
The International Co-ordinator supports the effective delivery of Wales Arts International’s activities, its projects and services. This includes the development of international information services, co-ordination of communication, correspondence and appointments. It also involves the planning, organisation and administration of internal and external meetings, events and conferences and participation in delivering frontline contact work with sectors in Wales and in international contexts.
The primary focus of this specific role is to provide a high quality administrative and support service to Arts Infopoint UK. It will work alongside the Arts Infopoint UK Officer, Arts Infopoint UK partners and the Wales Arts International team.
Arts Infopoint UK is a pilot initiative to support the arts sector with information on practical issues relating to artist international mobility. Arts Council of Wales’s international agency, Wales Arts International (WAI), is leading the initial phase of the project in partnership with Creative Scotland, Arts Council England, and Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
About you
You will have well developed IT and administrative skills, good communication skills and experience of supporting the organisation of events and dealing with people in events, conferences and other group contexts at an organisational level.
Welsh language
We work in both English and Welsh. Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken) is desirable but not essential for this post. Upon appointment we can support you to learn, develop and improve your language skills and to increase your confidence in speaking and writing in Welsh.
