Full time, 37 hours per week

Fixed term, 12 months.

Grade B: Starting salary of £27,591

Location: This role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen.  We are currently working in a hybrid way.

Our benefits include 30 days annual leave, 2.5 privilege days, flexible working hours/pattern, cycle to work scheme and a final salary pension (6%).

About this role

Team Co-ordinators have a mixed portfolio of individual responsibilities and corporate projects. The Team Co-ordinators play a key role in helping to support and coordinate this activity.

Team Co-ordinators ensure the effective delivery of the Council’s activities by providing a high-quality administrative service. This includes the coordination of communication, correspondence and appointments. It also involves the planning, organisation and administration of meetings.

About you

If you are someone who has good organisation and communication skills, this role could be for you. You’ll have relevant and demonstrable experience of providing high quality administrative services within a fast-paced environment and highly developed IT skills. You’ll also have the ability to prioritise and plan your own work allowing you to work on your own initiative and work effectively under pressure. You’ll be able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders with tact and diplomacy.

Welsh language

We work in both English and Welsh, Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken) is desirable but not essential for this post, however, upon appointment, you will be expected to commit to learning Welsh, we can support you to learn, develop and improve your language skills and to increase your confidence in speaking and writing in Welsh.
