Lyon is a city in east-central France with a UNESCO-listed Old Town, full of charming streets and ancient passageways called traboules. It’s famous as the food capital of France and hosts various festivals and cultural events, celebrating its artistic diversity. Today it is a great mix of its historical past and modern innovations.
Cultural wrap around programme Lyon (Wales v Australia)
On the morning that Wales take on Australia, artists will be taking over parts of the rugby village in Lyon. This will include performances by Carmarthenshire youth choir Hafodwennog, finalists in the Urdd National Eisteddfod 2023 along with Osian Meilir’s Qwerin performance.
Osian Meilyr will also be part of a small Wales delegation to the Lyon Biennale de la Danse 2023.
